Garden d'Lights

Garden d'Lights, the seasonal blaze of lights at the Bellevue Botanical Garden, will have an extended run this year, to continue through Sunday, Jan. 11.
On Nov. 29, more than 500,000 colored lights mounted on intricate frameworks to appear as three-dimensional flowers and animals transformed the Botanical Garden from a daytime haven to a night extravaganza. Snow storms in December forced the nationally recognized holiday display out of operation for a few days, prompting organizers to add a week in January.
New this year is an "aquarium," featuring a four-foot angelfish and an alligator, along with old favorites Willie the Slug, Charlotte the Spider. The d'Lights bloom every evening, 5 to 10 p.m. at 12001 Main St.
